Thank you for your interest in participating on The Leominster Community Action Team.  We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 3:30-4:30 PM virtually on Zoom. Our members include:

– Youth/ Young Adult ages 16-20
– Parents
– Businesses
– Substance Abuse Organizations
– State/Local/Tribal Government
– Healthcare Professionals
– Religious/Fraternal Organizations
– Civic/ Volunteer Organizations
– Law Enforcement
– Youth Serving Organizations
– Schools
– Media

Mission: To increase the health and wellness of the Leominster Community primarily by reducing youth substance use.

Vision: To collaborate with youth and youth-serving organizations, parents and other caring adults, public health, the business community, law enforcement, education, recovery agencies, and other entities in the City of Leominster, to make our city safer for our youth.

Efforts include:
– Working with schools, businesses, and communities to improve policies and practices.
– Creating social marketing campaigns
– Training parents on prevention strategies
– Implementing prevention curriculum in schools and youth serving organizations
– Working with communities to implement sustainable practices
